Leading Designs specializes in creating very elegant and simple to use websites that often have sophisticated back-ends. While we have designed many successful static websites, the bulk of our work and expertise is in creating interactive websites with great user interfaces. These are usually connected to SQL or other databases engines. We have been uniquely successful in generating top results via search engine optimization -- extremely high rankings on Google/Yahoo/Bing/etc. For those that wish to maintain their own websites, we have created very easy to use administration interfaces that allow clients to update the majority of their website's interactive features themselves, when requested.

Our DSA Inspector training website InspectorAcademy.com was built for our client as an entire online school with automatically graded quizzes pulled from thousands of random questions, training information, forums, seminars, and an easy administration interface to add new classes, questions and documents.
We recently designed CalDelts.org for Delta Tau Delta fraternity at Berkeley and their entire site is completely interactive and controlled by them with a simple to use online graphical back-end. This was their top requirement and will last them for years to come. No technical knowledge is necessary to make changes to any portion of the site, add members, send newsletters, pictures, or archive articles. Guests, alumni and members are able to sign up and contribute to portions of the site as well as access restricted sections based on their privileges.
At HorseGroomingSupplies.com/horse-forums/ , we've created one of the largest (if not THE largest) horse community on the Internet with over 4.1 million posts, 205,000 photos, live chat, 60 million hits per month and 37,000 registered members. This was built and has been continually managed by us from the ground up. We also created their e-commerce site, which is top ranked on every search engine. We did the same for their dog and truck websites (ProDogGroomingSupplies.com, TruckForum.org)
CraftsmanOutdoorLighting.com was one of the first websites we created. Over the past 9 years, this small manufacturer has sold over $4 Million directy online at retail prices (where there profit margin is much higher than their normal wholesale prices).. We created the site from scratch and have helped in the research and development of new products based on market demand and search engine statistical research. Along with their website, we took most of the product photos, created their business cards, full color flyers, price sheets, catalog pages, sent mass-emails, and mass direct-mail promotions.
:::Some Background:::
Leading Designs’ primary owner and driving force, Victor Issa, worked for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo's library at one time in 3 different departments at the same time due to demand. Working for their Multimedia Services department, he created their very first Internet search engine in C++ and also designed the user-friendly "Data Genie" web/database interface for students to find the resources they needed based on their research requirements (written in PHP and Perl.) He designed Intranets for the 150+ staff to schedule meetings, room reservations, calendars and internal communications online. It’s easy to forget this was back in the late '90s before this type of Internet software was available. He was nominated as student employee of the year by two departments at once. Many more innovative interactive web/database projects were done during the 3 years he worked there. He then left to work in the private sector and eventually formed Leading Designs, which has been in operation for several years.
Leading Designs’ lead graphic designer had previously worked full-time for a corporate graphic design firm and created commercial product labels, magazines, brochures, flyers, photo-shoots, business cards, and web graphic designs. She also worked for over 6 years doing in-house graphic design for two other major corporations.
